# 5.2. Community Governance Mechanism

Community governance is an important part of the PemChain ecosystem, where community members can participate in the governance and decision-making of the public chain through voting, proposing, and other means. The community governance mechanism will ensure the democracy and transparency of the public chain, and promote cooperation and consensus among community members.
